Students who have a solid handle on their applications but want expert guidance to make their main personal statement truly shine. This package is designed to elevate clarity, storytelling, and voice without rewriting the essay for the student.

What’s included: a 4-step process

This package includes two 60-minute one-on-one sessions and one 30-minute final review meeting, along with up to three rounds of written feedback.

1. The Story-Finding Session (60 minutes): A guided brainstorming session where we explore the student’s life experiences, values, and moments of growth. Together, we identify several compelling story ideas that can answer a Common App prompt in a meaningful and memorable way.
2. The Blueprint & Outline Session (60 minutes): Once a topic is selected, we create a clear narrative structure and outline. This ensures the essay has a strong hook, a coherent narrative arc, and a thoughtful conclusion before the heavy writing begins.
3. Iterative Drafting & Feedback (up to 3 rounds): The student writes the initial draft, followed by a guided revision process. I provide detailed feedback on content, structure, tone, and voice through shared documents—empowering the student to make their own improvements.
4. Grammar & Clarity Check + Final Meeting (30 minutes): Once the story and content are finalized, we conduct a line-by-line review to catch grammar, spelling, and syntax errors. We then review the final essay together during a 30-minute meeting to ensure it’s polished and submission-ready.
